Team Registration
If you would like to form a team to run or walk in honor of a family member, friend or WOKC Ambassador battling pediatric cancer, it’s easy. Team members can consist of family, friends, co-workers, classmates, athletes or anyone else you can recruit. Team members can be any combination of runners, walkers and/or kids participating in either event. Members of the team do not all have to participate in the same event.
Team Registration Process

Come up with a name for your team and assign a team captain. If you’re running/walking for a pediatric cancer patient, you might want to incorporate the child’s name into your team name. (example – Team 
Rainey, Team Amanda)
- • Teams can be set up during the online registration process accessed by through the Register Online button.
Click on the button on the home page of the registration site that says: "Click here to start a team" and follow the instructions.

• Once the team is created, team members can select the team name during step 2 of the registration process.
Team Captains
Team creation does not include race registration. After you create your team page, you will need to register and pay for one of the running events.
- You can customize your team home page with a logo or picture and a message to team members and supporters. A link to your team page will be listed on the home page of our registration site. You can direct people to that page, or you can give them the direct link you’ll be provided.
Encourage co-workers, friends and family to join your team or contribute using the built-in email feature on your team home page. Please contact the WOKC office if you would like race brochures and/or posters to distribute. Donations can be made online to a fundraising team or individual.
Team Packet Pick-Up
Team packets will be available for pick-up at the Run On location of your choice or Trophy Fitness Club in Addison. If you would like to pick up all team packets together, please let us know which location your team prefers. Otherwise, team members can pick up on an individual basis at the location they choose.
Team Awards
You are encouraged to make your team stand out, so have fun and be creative while supporting a great cause.
The team with the most participants will receive the Spirit Award. Congratulations to the winner of the 2010 Spirit Award – Brinker Elementary!
Team Photos On Race Morning
Commemorate your team’s accomplishments in the fight against pediatric cancer…. Smile and Say Cheese!! Team photos will be taken race morning.
