Please join us on Saturday, September 19th 2009 at the Addison Oktoberfest 5K and the Tom Thumb 1 Mile Fun Run, benefitting Wipe Out Kids' Cancer, a non-profit based in Dallas dedicated to helping children with cancer by raising funds for research, providing fun experiences to children currently battling cancer, and by advocating for a cancer free tomorrow.

Our 5K (3.1 mile) course is ChampionChip certified.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 runners in each age category, and to the team with that raises the largest amount. 

After the race, we will have lots of food and drinks, including beer for the adult participants (while supplies last), and local children’s favorite Eddie Coker will give a concert for all.  Every child who runs or walks will have free admission to the Addison Oktoberfest for the entire day.

It’s a fun way to spend your Saturday morning, and it supports a great cause.
