Race Day Registration will be available on Saturday, September 20, 2008 beginning at 7:00 a.m. at the Addison Oktoberfest Race Grounds
Are dogs allowed?
For the safety of our participants, we strongly discourage pets.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes, this is an all family event.
Where can I park?
Free parking is available in the parking garages at the Northwest corner of Arapaho Road and Dallas Parkway
How do I set-up my own group registration online?
To get the group rate of $15 per participant for the 5K, you need 25 or more participants in BOTH the 1 Mile and the 5K. Email Ginger at gadams@wokc.org with your group name and we will set it up online for you. Discounted group registration online ends on Thursday, September 11, 2008.
How can my company or organization sponsor the race?
Contact Ginger Adams at the Wipe Out Kids' Cancer office at 214-987-4662 for a 2008 Sponsorship packet.
Who does the Tom Thumb 1 Mile Run for the Children and Oktoberfest 5K benefit?
Wipe Out Kids' Cancer. The mission of Wipe Out Kids' Cancer is to eradicate pediatric cancer by funding INNOVATIVE research, education, and treatment, while providing hope to CHILDREN affected with cancer. The funds raised by WOKC go to the pediatric cancer research being done at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and UT-Southwestern.

What are the awards and age group breakdown?
A Run-On’s Gift Certificate, a Chili’s Gift Card, and an award will be awarded to the male and female 5K Overall winners, second place, third place, and Masters Division winners. Additionally, these winners will receive the following amounts of cash.
Overall 5K winners - $250
2nd Place 5K winners - $100
3rd Place 5K winners - $50
Overall Masters Division Winners (40 ) -$100
Awards will also be presented to the top winners in the following age categories:
